Harlan V. Miller, CLU®, ChFC®
Harlan Miller is the founder of Harlan Miller and Associates. He began his Financial Services career in 1972, earning the Chartered Life Underwriter designation (CLU®) in 1979. He later earned the Chartered Financial Consultant designation (ChFC®) in 1983. His primary purpose in founding the firm was to assist individuals, closely held businesses and not-for-profit institutions in planning and implementing their financial objectives.
Harlan has actively served on various community boards and committees, including the United Way of Greater Dayton and the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce. He also belongs to several professional organizations including the Planned Giving Council of Greater Dayton, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, and the Society of Financial Service Professionals.
Harlan has held a variety of leadership positions at the Local, State and National levels. He is a life and qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) and has also qualified for the prestigious "Court of the Table". Harlan is also a nationally recognized speaker in his industry having spoken to countless groups in more than 17 states.

Christopher M. Pfeffer, LUTCF
Chris is the Administrative Supervisor and Chief Compliance Officer for Harlan Miller and Associates. He joined the firm in September 1995. With 24 years experience in the field of insurance and securities, Chris handles client service inquiries, compliance regulations, processing of new accounts, and database management. Other areas include marketing and computer systems support.
Chris began his career with Western Southern Life in 1984. He earned the Life Underwriter Training Council Fellowship (LUTCF®) designation in 1986. He served on the Western Southern Field Advisory Council in 1987. Chris has also served in many industry related positions including LUTC Chairman and past President of the local Middletown Association of Life Underwriters.

Allison R. Mundy
Allison is the firms bookkeeper and one of Harlan's direct assistants.  She has worked for the firm off and on during the last 13 years.  She returned to the firm most recently in August 2005.  Allison schedules client appointments and handles customer service inquires. She completed her Bachelor of Arts at Miami University (OH) in May 2000 (major in Psychology) and her Master of Social Work from the University of Cincinnati in June 2003.
